Today has been a whirlwind of wonderful!
First I found out that Vivian Kirkfield’s fantastic 50 Precious Words contest began, and then…
I signed my first literary client for Olswanger Literary! Thanks for accepting my offer, Laura K. Zimmermann! I can’t wait to see where this partnership leads us!
Without further ado, check out my 50 Precious Words entry, where I got to dive into a subject that’s been itching to be written.
A Dance in the Night
by Kaitlyn Leann Sanchez
A shadow stretches.
A light leans.
From opposing sides,
they creep and reach—
dark against light.
They dance,
circling.
Then—
BOOM!—
they collide.
Swirling!
Whipping!
Crashing!
Creating something new,
until…
the light sneaks away,
and the shadow shrinks
back into the night.

I am thrilled for you! You are on both sides of the desk, as writer and agent/editor. Nice you have an outlet for your creative spirit. Currently, I’m in the middle of a big writing assignment, so I won’t be participating, but I’ve read about Vivian and the event she sponsors. Sounds wonderful!
